Assignment Structure

The course will look at the major concerns in sustainability and ethics. It will inspire you to use this information to critically evaluate the complex relationships and constraints of environmental, economic, and social goals. The assignments can include two components:

1. Diagnostic Sustainability Report

Learners assess their employer’s current sustainability practices. They will perform site visits and gather employee feedback. This analysis will be compiled in the form of internal reports. These reports will be further used to identify areas for improvement. Some examples include energy efficiency, supply chain ethics, or green waste practices.

2. Strategic Improvement Plan

In the second part, after they have diagnosed the issues in sustainability practices, learners will develop a personalized action plan. They will define new objectives for implementing sustainable practices in the workplace. Other measures to be taken into account can include revising the budget, implementing new deadlines, and monitoring the present mechanisms to resolve the problems. Students can also engage in team presentations and implement this plan effectively.
